I heard her music first because blog fave Hornet shared her video on Instagram a couple weeks ago. She’s only released a couple of songs, but they’ve been on repeat since last week:
She nails the 90’s throwback grunge feel, landing somewhere between Cannonball and Zombie, or maybe something off the Empire Records soundtrack. I love the gradual change in her voice from saccharine to seething. I almost overlooked her music at first but the melodies are so catchy I caught myself singing this one in the kitchen over the weekend, which convinced me to share them:
That one has a bit of a Garbage sound, and the melody is a perfect earworm. I love the busy drumming. Can’t wait to hear more.
