SNAKEY DUBLAY is a solo project by a guy named Colin Dawson. His website is somewhat hostile thanks to several autoplay videos with overlapping sound. I heard his music via Analogue Trash. Almost no Instagram, the Bandcamp has one (old) song. I found him on Reddit though.
Looks like he’s a busy guy, and he’s got loads of talent. He’s got several projects going on besides SNAKEY DUBLAY, but this is the bizarre fever dream of a music video for his latest song that caught me:
Dawson does it all on this. It’s got that anxious, gloomy, atmospheric vibe nailed. If that scratches your itch, there’s a whole EP of demos from last year. They’re a bit loose in places, but it’s worth a listen.
