Sacred by Dennis Lehane

The Kenzie and Genarro books are comfort food – not classic Lehane like Mystic River or Small Mercies but fun thrillers with likeable protagonists and solid plot and pacing. Even read completely out of order they’re good.

This one revolves around the disappearance of a rich guy’s daughter, a grief cult that’s a rough-in for the Church of Scientology, and a field trip to Florida.

You won’t remember it a week after you finish it but it’s a great travel companion.
