Hey! You’re here! Thank you.
This week has been very full – between a couple of major work projects and a lot of stuff for this site, not a dull moment. I love being busy.
On Wednesday night at dusk, I took one of the dogs out and there were storm clouds to the east of us. I watched the lightning light up the clouds for more than half an hour. I’ve never seen anything like this:
There was no thunder, no wind, not even a chirping bird. I was sure there would be tornadoes reported nearby, but that wasn’t the case. Apocalypse-level beauty.
Anyway: I hope you find something you like here, and if you’re inclined, get in touch.

New releases from old faves
This is new music that I like from bands I’ve written about recently, but it’s too soon to warrant a whole new post.
All of these artists are in the playlists on this page
New singles
- Jagged Baptist Club announced signing to a new label, but more importantly they released Bull on a Chain, a ripping new single
- Been Stellar released Pumpkin, the last single before their full album comes out in a couple of weeks
- Lip Filler‘s EP witchescrew is out today. It feels very now. Intense, complex, and stylistically diverse
- mary in the junkyard fully released their EP titled this old house, and It’s cinematic and immersive
