I loved a lot of this book, but the rigid structure was frustrating. A constant stream of flashbacks to justify a characters single action, or a single line of dialogue. Often it felt like the flashbacks took the momentum out of the moment, and it really wore on me by the time Wim Hof showed up.
I loved the characters and their messiness. The story itself was beautiful and well-told. I learned a bunch as well. Peters is going to do great things. Can’t wait to see what she does next.
