I had an all-new experience this week. Melt Motif shared their latest release before it was public, so I got a sneak peek and a chance to discuss it with one of the members of the band.
I also went to a book thing hosted by Rina from Curiosity House Books where I met Elizabeth Renzetti and Kate Hilton, and heard them discuss their new book Bury the Lead. Haven’t had a chance to read the book yet, but soon.
Tomorrow is Indie Bookstore Day in Canada (and the US). Take that dough you didn’t spend on Record Store Day and support your local. There are prizes.
It snowed a couple of times in the past few days, so it was easy to do indoor things. Here’s everything I got up to on the blog in the past 7 days:
Music
If you want to hear a couple tracks from each of these, I’ve made you a mixtape in Apple Music and Spotify.
