I’m the guy at the live show who’s always watching the drummer. My kid actually shares songs with me that have unusual or crazy-good drummers. Openculture posted this video of Ulysses Owens Jr. improvising the drum part Nirvana’s In Bloom. It’s great.

It reminded me of another video I’d seen a year or so ago, which turns out to be from the same YouTube channel, (Toronto-based) Larnell Lewis Hears “Enter Sandman” for the First Time:

I could watch drummers dissecting rock songs all day. Drumeo seems like a good place to do that.
