Day three of low-effort posts killer performance videos
It’s a quiet time of year for new music and there’s enough stuff competing for attention. I’m busy and you’re busy. For each of the 12 weekdays leading up to the 24th, I’ll post a video of a live performance that I’ve loved this year. There’ll be a couple staged ones (KEXPs or whatever), but where possible I’m going to post full sets in front of a crowd.
Day Three: Teenage Sequence
I know KEXP is kind of cheating: the setups are carefully managed and produced, and they don’t have the same energy as being in a room of excited fans, but this is still a great introduction to Dewan-Dean Soomary’s project. I’ve had several of these tracks in steady rotation all year. I love this video.
