Twelve days of mailin’ it in, Day Four: Sofia and the Antoinettes
Day four of low-effort posts killer performance videos
It’s a quiet time of year for new music and there’s enough stuff competing for attention. I’m busy and you’re busy. For each of the 12 weekdays leading up to the 24th, I’ll post a video of a live performance that I’ve loved this year, and link to the artist feature. There’ll be a couple staged ones (KEXPs or whatever), but where possible I’m going to post full sets in front of a crowd.
The original Sofia and the Antoinettes post was far and away the most popular music feature on this site to daye. When this Lou Smith video was released, the band only had one song out. Now they have two. The unreleased songs on this recording are as excellent as the two released tracks.
