This should be interesting: John Le Carré’s son Nick (Harkaway, of Gnomon and Titanium Noir fame) has written the next George Smiley book, due in the fall of 2024. I’m a huge Harkaway fan, and he certainly has a knack for a complicated and convoluted plot.
Those are some big shoes to fill and I’m cautiously optimistic about this. If it works, he could take that style in some very interesting directions.
