Day six of low-effort posts killer performance videos
It’s a quiet time of year for new music and there’s enough stuff competing for attention. I’m busy and you’re busy. For each of the 12 weekdays leading up to the 24th, I’ll post a video of a live performance that I’ve loved this year, and link to the artist feature.
Day SIX: Birds of PRRREY
This came out before the Montreal band’s debut 2024 EP Yet, We’re Still Growing in Place, and it’s a great introduction to the band. The energy on this video is infectious, and I can’t wait to hear more from them next year, hopefully live.
BONUS: here’s a more recent one the band did with La Sesh, that I didn’t see until this morning. It’s got higher production quality, and the band is more polished, but there’s just as much rawness and energy. Can’t wait to see them in front of a crowd.
