Day five of low-effort posts killer performance videos
It’s a quiet time of year for new music and there’s enough stuff competing for attention. I’m busy and you’re busy. For each of the 12 weekdays leading up to the 24th, I’ll post a video of a live performance that I’ve loved this year, and link to the artist feature. There’ll be a couple staged ones (KEXPs or whatever), but where possible I’m going to post full sets in front of a crowd.
Day FIVE: Been Stellar
Audiotree is incredible, and I don’t know how they keep going. Manhattan Youth (at 5:30 of the above) is the gateway drug that turned me into a Been Stellar fan — they’re one of my favourite acts right now. I saw them open for Fontaines D.C. in Toronto where they almost didn’t make the show because of traffic (the most Toronto reason ever). Stoked for their headline show here in the new year.
