Girl, Woman, Other by Bernardine Evaristo

This was fantastic. It’s stunning how the author makes a story told over 100ish years from 12 different perspectives weave together so naturally.

Loved the story, loved the format, loved so many of the characters. Some characters could carry their own 500 page novel.

A couple of times I felt like a story was forced into the format, or had the feeling of ‘pay attention this is RELEVANT’ but overall the book was tremendous.
